10,000 Cases of Breast Cancer Every Year Because of Abortion

Abortion causes 10,000 cases of breast cancer annually in the USAnother front in the war against women has opened: the coverup of the relationship between abortion and cancer.

Dr. Angela Lanfranchi, M.D. breast surgical oncologist and co-director of the Steeplechase Cancer Center’s Breast Program, writes:

“Abortion is a risk factor for breast cancer. I see it every day in my practice. Thirty percent of my breast cancer patients who are in their thirties do not have a family history of cancer, but have had an abortion. It is estimated that an additional ten thousand cases of breast cancer occur each year because of abortion.”

Lanfranchi admits to an intial reluctance to speak out on behalf of women, a fear that OB-GYN doctors would stop referring patients to her. But, as she says, to fail to alert the public is inexcusable.

Nevertheless, Western sensibilities do not want to recognize the link between abortions and cancer. In fact, consider this compelling critique of today’s abortion culture from Argentinian-born gender historian, Lilian Calles Barger: “The widely practiced violence of abortion is not a sign of progress but a sign that women’s reproductive ability needs to be exterminated in order for society to go ‘forward.’ In an environment hostile to women’s bodies and through abortion, women participate in a war against their own bodies, objectifying them.”

We are witnessing tragedy on two levels. At one level are the women suffering from breast cancer as a result of having an abortion. At another, that Western society is ignoring and/or hiding this link between abortion and cancer.

Dr. Mary L Davenport is an obstetrician and gynecologist and member of the Board of Directors of the Breast Cancer Prevention Institute. She wrote an article titled “New study from China Helps to Prove the Abortion-Breast Cancer Link”:

In the US we are used to abortion advocates claiming that the risk of elective abortion is relatively trivial, and major medical organizations denying any link between abortion and breast cancer. Now a powerful new study from China published last week by Yubei Huang and colleagues suggests otherwise. The article, a meta-analysis pooling 36 studies from 14 provinces in China, showed that abortion increased the risk of breast cancer by 44% with one abortion, and 76% and 89% with two and three abortions [emphasis added].

China is the place to do research on this subject because there are “an average of 8.2 million pregnancy terminations every year, and 40 abortions for every 100 live births. Chinese researchers and physicians are unencumbered by abortion politics, and do not cover up data showing long-term effects of induced abortion, as do their US counterparts in governmental, professional and consumer organizations.”

The China study referenced by Dr. Davenport included 12 researchers led by Dr. Yubei Huang, from Tianjin Medical University Cancer Hospital and China’s National Clinical Research Center for Cancer. Their findings were published in the November edition of the academic journal Cancer Causes Control. Dr. Haung concludes: “The most important implication of this study is that IA [Induced Abortion] was significantly associated with an increased risk of breast cancer among Chinese females, and the risk of breast cancer increased as the number of IA increases.”

In his powerful essay The Great Liberal Death Wish, writer, journalist and free-thinker Malcolm Muggeridge argued that liberals (he himself came from their ranks) have a death wish. They would rather die than cede their atheistic ideology. It seems that a similar thing is happening in the world today. The abortion industry and their supporters would rather have women get breast cancer from abortions than tell the truth about the link between elective abortions and cancer. The war against women continues!

This is interesting. I remember hearing someone speak on this nearly 20 years ago on a Focus on the Family broadcast. This doctor was trying to raise the alarm then and no one wanted to listen.
