Rape in Sweden Increased 1,472% from 1975 to 2014

Rape is the legacy of Muslim immigration to postmodern Europe.

Because of the conflicts unleashed by the so-called Arab Spring, and the terrorism of militant Islamist groups like ISIS and Al-Qaeda, millions of refugees have been displaced, hundreds of thousands are flooding Europe’s shores. This graphic shows the numbers and origin of many of these refugees in 2015.

In recent years, European nations, in the name of compassion, have opened wide their doors to massive immigration from Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Such compassion deserves to be celebrated. It springs from the vestiges of Judeo-Christian influence.

The other side of the coin is not so praiseworthy. This open-handed compassion is coupled with a naïve, perhaps even malicious, cultural relativism. The combination of virtuous compassion and dangerous relativism has created a toxic brew, bringing unintended consequences to Europe. Violent crime and rape have seen distressing growth. We have written about sexual grooming and abuse of 1,400 young English girls in England, the mass rape and sexual assault in Germany on New Year’s Eve, and the impact of the new ethic, or rather “non-ethic,” of postmodern moral and cultural relativism.

This trend is not abating. On the contrary, it continues to grow. Here are examples from Germany and Sweden.

Under the headline, “Germany: Migrant Rape Crisis Worsens,” Soeren Kern writes,

Sexual violence in Germany has skyrocketed since Angela Merkel allowed more than one million mostly male migrants from Africa, Asia and the Middle East into the country. The crimes are being downplayed by the authorities, apparently to avoid fueling anti-immigration sentiments.

Sweden is now Europe’s rape capital

Ingrid Carlqvist and Lars Hedegaard report on a similar increase in violent crime and rape in once-tranquil Sweden. Note that the crime increase they write about has taken place over a period of time longer than the last few years of massive refugee crises. But their observations are relevant because this longer-term trend laid the foundation for the more recent atrocities fed by Muslim immigration.

In 1975, the Swedish parliament unanimously decided to change the former homogeneous Sweden into a multicultural country. Forty years later the dramatic consequences of this experiment emerge: violent crime has increased by 300%.

If one looks at the number of rapes, however, the increase is even worse. In 1975, 421 rapes were reported to the police; in 2014, it was 6,620. That is an increase of 1,472%.

Sweden is now number two on the global list of rape countries. According to a survey from 2010, Sweden, with 53.2 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants, is surpassed only by tiny Lesotho in Southern Africa, with 91.6 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants.

Why this increase in rapes in Europe? Dare I write that part of the reason may be the sexual license of modern European culture, a “freedom” that creates greater vulnerability for young women?

But perhaps the major reason is the denial of the significance of culture differences between Europe and the Muslim refugees who have flooded European nations. This naiveté of European leaders is largely due to the postmodern denial of moral absolutes, the denial of truth, reality and reason. Renouncing morality and truth has resulted in moral and cultural relativism, the delusion and misplaced sentimentality of political correctness.

Muslim refugees bring Islamic culture to Europe

Blend the permissiveness and radical sexuality of modern European culture with the brutal, animal misogyny of many male Muslim refugees, and you have an explosive mix. Europe’s governing elites, consumed as they are with political correctness, are turning a blind eye to the personal and public events of this deadly state of affairs.

In the West, we are well acquainted with the effects of political correctness, its moral and cultural relativism. What is less familiar to us is the other half of this volatile equation: Islam’s sexual ethic.

As you likely know, 75% of the refugees flooding into Europe are men, mostly young men fleeing conflict and poverty in their own countries. This graphic from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees clearly depicts the reality.

These refugees are imbued, not with Western values and mores, but with traditional Muslim standards. Three ugly practices feed Muslim refugee assault on women in Europe.

First is taharrush gamea, collective harassment, otherwise known as the “rape game,” a mass sexual assault of women in a public space. Men typically separate a woman from her companions and set two circles around her. The outer circle acts as a defense against would-be rescuers. The inner ring assaults the woman or girl by biting, groping, beating, stripping, penetrating and raping.

This misogynist treatment is sometimes considered “just” punishment upon a woman for being out in public, or is simply lawless male animal instinct.

Islam encourages misogyny

Second is zinā, sexual intercourse of a man and woman outside of marriage. Muslim mores forbid adultery, fornication, rape and prostitution. These are all unlawful between Muslims. The punishment for Muslim women is often stoning. However, the same behaviors by Muslim men on non-Muslim women are often encouraged. Accordingly, European women are considered legitimate targets for sexual assault including the rape game.

Muhammad encouraged rape of fair-hared women

A third contributing factor is the concept of Banu al-Asfar, “children of yellow.” As Islam moved into southern and eastern Europe—the Byzantine Empire—it encountered “white people” – fair-haired, blue-eyed Christians, dubbed the “children of yellow.” Muhammad often asked a new convert, “Would you like the girls of Banu al-Asfar?” This was enticement to new converts to join the jihad; its rewards included raping and enslaving blonde Byzantine women.

European women are fair game for Muslim men for the reasons listed above. An epidemic of sexual assault is plaguing Europe, especially Scandinavia, Germany and England.

The Taharrush Gamea came to Germany on New Year’s Eve 2015 in at least six German cities. Some 1,200 women were assaulted by 2,000 Arab or North African men acting in groups. The German government and police denied the reality because they did not want to be seen as Islamophobic.

These are just a few of the consequences of the postmodern ethic. When will the West wake up to the hell it is creating, not by the godly virtue of welcoming strangers, but by the ungodly vice of denying reason, reality and a moral framework?
