Why this book 

On October 7, 2023, the world witnessed the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust—and then watched much of the world celebrate it. Crowds in Western cities chanted “From the River to the Sea.” Elite university presidents told Congress they could not say, without qualification, that calling for the genocide of Jews is wrong. And in the pews of solid evangelical churches, young Christians who gather weekly for Bible study and prayer were absorbing anti-Israel sentiment from social media without recognizing it as incompatible with their faith. This was not an isolated event. It was a revelation.

It is a book about what the Jewish people gave to the world—gifts so profound that Western civilization literally could not have existed without them. It is about why those gifts provoke such hatred. It is about the civilizational war that is now underway, and what is at stake if those who believe in the one true God—Jew and Christian alike—do not stand and fight.

This is the hour

They cannot be erased

They have tried. Egypt tried. Babylonia tried. Persia tried. Greece tried. Rome tried. The Third Reich tried. They all failed. The Jewish people are still here.

The Jews must be erased—so goes the logic of the pagan alternative. But they cannot be erased. Not because they are powerful, not because they are protected by human allies, but because the God who called Abraham out of Ur in Genesis 12 and promised to bless all the families of the earth through him has kept that promise for four thousand years and will keep it until history reaches its appointed end. That promise is the ground of Jewish survival. It is also—for all who are grafted into the same olive tree by faith in Jesus Christ—the ground of our own.
