Every hospital, every university, every legal system that protects the innocent is fruit of a moral universe the Jewish people gave the West. As the west spirals further away from these Judeo-Christian roots, we start to see that secularism or animism will not produce the same kind of fruit.  The simple, yet profound truth that people have intrisic value because they are made in the image of God was first held and stewarded by the Jews.  Then, of course, it became a part of our heritage as Christians.  Yet those truths that esteem life and value the marginalized and the innocent originate from our Jewish brothers and sisters. Those who celebrate the fruits while despising the root are sawing off the branch on which they sit.

“You cannot hate the root and love the fruit.”

That line may be the most important sentence in my newest book The Jews Cannot Be Erased.
