We honor a brother who loved Christ and loved this country enough to take both loves into the hard places — campuses, cameras, conversations most of us avoid.
He spoke the gospel, truth, and freedom in the public square when much of the church treated that square as someone else’s business. He answered questions. He stayed. He did not flinch when the cost rose.
We mourn him. We thank God for his life, his courage, and his witness. We refuse to make his death a spectacle or a political toy.
Pray for Erika and the family. Comfort the young people he taught to stand. Remember what he stood for — and do not go quiet.
Then keep walking.

He did not leave the gospel in a private corner and call that faithfulness. He broke the sacred-secular divide with his feet: campus, culture, politics, the hard conversations — under the Lordship of Christ.
That is what Occupy Till I Come means. It’s not a slogan. It’s a life given to the discipleship of nations in every sphere until He comes.
The church that stays nice and stays out of the public square is not occupying. Silence in the face of the hour is not caution. It is the divide doing what it always does.
