In case you missed it, yesterday we published Darrow’s post, DEADNAMING and MISGENDERING: Postmodern Taboos that Deny Reality.
Our whiteboard videos have typically posted weeks after the original written version, but we depart from that practice today to publish the video of yesterday’s article.

May 14, 2019 - 6:59 pmHi, Darrow!
I don’t know if you’ll remember me, but I remember you as “Big Darrow,” Young Life Club leader of Scottsdale High School 1964, ’65, and/or ’66. I had just received Christ and was in your Campaigner group, played fullback on SHS’s varsity football team. My sister, Judy, also blonde was in the club, too, under Jan Webb. I think you served under a Phil? I remember your wife, too, Marilyn.

May 14, 2019 - 7:03 pmHi, Darrow!
I don’t know if you’ll remember me, but I remember you as “Big Darrow,” Young Life Club leader of Scottsdale High School 1964, ’65, and/or ’66. I had just received Christ and was in your Campaigner group, played fullback and co-captain on SHS’s varsity football team. (I was the defense team’s captain). My sister, Judy, also blonde was in the club, too, under Jan Webb. She was a cheerleader (Judy, not Jan). She is still really close to Jan. I think you served under a Phil? I remember your wife, Marilyn, too. If you like, I could send a photo. I’m married with 2 adult girls, all Christians.
By now you’ve probably heard that Dave Page passed away a few weeks ago (from SHS, ’66).

May 15, 2019 - 5:18 amHi Jack
It is good to be in contact with you after all these years. Yes, I remember you. One strong memory was at YL Camp. After the evening service, we would go back to our bunk room and the guys would always process what they had heard. I remember that you were the first one back in the room, got in the bunk and pulled the covers over your head. You obviously did not want to engage in the conversation, but I did not know if you were sleeping or silently listening. Years later I ran into Judy at a bank in Scottsdale. She said that you had become a Christian and had gone on to seminary.
Marilyn and I are in our 70s and by God’s grace are still going strong. We have four grown children ranging from 40-48 and we have 14 grandchildren.
Where are you living now If you are in Phoenix, perhaps we can get together for coffee or lunch. Marilyn and I live in the North Valley and the DNA office is in the central corridor. Thanks for making the connection.
